ReadLong()

Syntax

Number.l = ReadLong(#File)

Read a long (4 bytes) from a file.

Parameters

#File

The file to read from.

Return value

Returns the read value or zero if there was an error.

Remarks

For an example of how to read from a file, see the ReadFile() function - with ReadLong() only a long value is read, instead of a complete line (string).
